Announcements:
The Ludlow Elementary School third graders have been involved in a project sponsored by the Okemo Community Challenge Grant to increase their understanding of geography. They have been studying about daily life in a variety of communities around the world. The culmination of this project is a Geography Bee. We are inviting community members and parents to come and participate. You are welcome to attend and I would be more than happy to supply more information about this fun event. It is scheduled for Wednesday May 14th at 6:00 in the Ludlow Elementary School Multi-purpose room.

Okemo Community Challenge Sponsors Team Odyssey
LES is proud of Team Odyssey!
Division I (Grades 2-5), coached by Gina Davis, took 3rd place at the State Tournament on March 8th.
The Division II team (Grade 6), coached by their teacher, Heidi Baitz, took 2nd place which qualified them to go on to the World Finals at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. The world competition will take place later in May and the team is working hard to raise funds for the trip.
