This year we have chosen the book The Little Prince as
our cornerstone piece for our school-wide thematic unit of study for LES. Some
of our students are involved in the musical production of "The Little Prince"
which will have its Premier Performance at the Weston Playhouse, in Weston,
Vermont, this coming January. All students also are enjoying the unique opportunity to
be involved in the designing and creation of small props and scenery for this
play. We are currently working with set designer, Anna Dibble. She is pictured below along
with photos of Kindergarteners making the stamps for giant envelopes and Third
Graders working on armatures (of wood and metal) for
cranes. We would like to thank the Okemo Community Challenge for funding this
Residency. We are very excited to be working with a professional set
designer!
