Dear Vincent Van Gogh,

My name is Kirstin. I am 9 years old .My favorite sport is baseball. I have a brother and a sister. Their names are Dominic and Molly. My brother is ten and my sister is 9 months old. My hobbies are arts and crafts and sports. My favorite food is beef jerky. Do you know what that is?

In my art class we did a project about self portraits. We studied about you and saw many of your self portraits. In my self portrait I am wearing my striped shirt and I am holding my very special cat named Simba. I painted my background blue because that color looked best with craypas. I wanted to add more detail with craypas. I added lines like you did in some of your portraits . When people see my portrait I hope they will say I did a nice job because I think I did. I am happy. Do you like my self portrait?

I like your paintings and your self portraits very much. You did a nice job on them. I feel sad because nobody liked them when you painted them. I like writing to you even though you're in heaven. People really like your art now. I am a fan of yours now that I know a lot about you.  I'm happy that I got to do this project because it was fun.
