Dear Vincent Van Gogh,

I'm Katie.  I live in Ludlow, Vermont. I'm writing to you because I want to tell you that I painted a self-portrait. If you hadn't died, I would like to show you my painting. I'm eight years old and almost turning 9. My birthday is August 28. I was born in 1993. My school is Ludlow Elementary School. I was born in Rutland  hospital. I enjoy sunny days and BBQs the most. My favorite sports are baseball, basketball and soccer. I live with my step mom, Tomieka and my dad, Kevin.

  I am holding my very special stuffed bunny in my portrait. I call him "Bunny Man". I held my Bunny because I love him a lot and he's one my favorites. I  learned the rule of halves to help me draw my face. It showed me where to put my eyes, nose, mouth and ears.  Did you use it in your self portraits? In my self portrait I have a happy face. I am happy because I am holding my Bunny Man.

 I think your art work is awesome.  I like all of your self portraits.
